This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect when you visit maryshousecleaning.com (the "Website"), request a quote, or use our services; how we use and share that information; and the choices you have. By using the Website, you agree to the practices described in this Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, please do not use the Website.

2. Information We Collect

We collect information in two ways: information you give us directly, and information collected automatically when you browse the Website.

Information you provide to us

• Contact details: your name, phone number, email address, and ZIP code or service location.
• Service details: the type of cleaning you are interested in (for example standard, deep, move-in/move-out, or post-construction cleaning), how often you would like service, the number of bedrooms and bathrooms, any add-on services, your preferred timeline, and any message you include.
• Communications: the content of calls, text messages, emails, and form submissions you send us, including any feedback or service concerns.
• Service and billing information: information needed to schedule and perform cleanings at your home, such as access instructions and special requests, and the information needed to invoice you. Payment details are arranged directly with our team at the time of service; we do not collect payment card information through the Website.

Information collected automatically

• Device and usage data: IP address, browser type, device type, operating system, referring pages, pages viewed, time spent on pages, and similar analytics information.
• Cookies and similar technologies: described in Section 5 below.

We do not ask for, and ask that you do not send us, sensitive personal information such as Social Security numbers, government ID numbers, health information, or financial account numbers through our website forms.

Text messages: if you contact us by text message or ask us to text you, we will use your phone number to reply and coordinate your service. Message and data rates may apply. You can ask us to stop texting you at any time by replying STOP or contacting us directly.

Marketing: we may occasionally share promotions or service updates with existing customers. You can opt out at any time using the contact details in Section 14.

4. Website Forms and Quote Requests

The Website offers an online quote request (available from the "Get a free quote online" buttons and on our Booking page). Depending on the form, we ask for your name, phone number, email address, ZIP code or service location, the type and frequency of cleaning you need, the size of your home, optional add-on services, your timeline, and a message.

Form submissions are processed by our website's form system and stored in our website's database so that we can review them and contact you. They are also delivered to our team by email. We use this information only to prepare your quote and coordinate your service.

Submitting a form does not create a confirmed booking. A member of our team will contact you by phone, text message, or email to confirm availability, pricing, and scheduling.

5. Cookies and Tracking Technologies

Cookies are small text files placed on your device by a website. The Website uses the following categories of cookies and similar technologies:

• Strictly necessary cookies. Set by our website platform (WordPress) and its form system so that pages and forms work correctly, including protection against automated spam submissions.

Most browsers let you refuse or delete cookies through their settings. If you disable cookies, some parts of the Website may not function properly. The Website does not currently respond to "Do Not Track" browser signals.

• Quote requests from visitors who do not become customers are kept for a limited time so that we can follow up, and are then deleted.

California "Shine the Light" law: California Civil Code Section 1798.83 allows California residents to request information about disclosures of personal information to third parties for their direct marketing purposes. We do not make such disclosures.

12. Children's Privacy

The Website and our services are intended for adults. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under the age of 13 (or under 16 for California residents) and do not direct the Website to children. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, please contact us and we will delete it promptly.

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time to reflect changes in our practices, technology, or legal requirements. When we do, we will revise the "Last updated" date at the top of this page.
